Sweetie

Sweetie, a small female dog, was rescued by an American woman and brought to the shelter in January 2013. She had CTVT and some mange. The tumour was successfully treated with several rounds of chemotherapy – the tumour fully resolved. She has been spayed and fully vaccinated. The American woman tried to find her a home in Kathmandu but was unsuccessful, so Sweetie remains at the centre. As her name suggests, Sweetie is a sweet gentle affectionate dog, who loves people. She gets on well with other dogs in the shelter. Sweetie would have made an excellent family dog but now she is aging – maybe 10 years old. She is now being sponsored by Adriana.

Sweetie, an older lady that was picked up after a spay program by another organisation with a tumour, was supposed to be put down, so Kate took her in and had her treated.
Sweetie already has a sponsor.
