Cali

Cali was rescued on 6 May 2019 not far from Kopan after Kate got a call from a young couple. We found him hiding in the corner of a building in the dark. It’s only when we tried to move him that we noticed the big burned patch on his left side. We don’t know what happened to him exactly, but we can assume he is the unfortunate result of people abuse, probably someone threw boiling hot water on him.

This handsome big male dog quickly started to be very friendly and sweet with everyone, walking around the shelter trying to befriend the other dogs, but as he is new and unknown, they are still quiet aggressive with him. He is still young, probably less than a year old. He has been on medication for his skin recovery, treated with antibiotic powder and spray and he has recovered very well. We would love to find him a loving home as he is very demanding of attention and hugs. Carolyn from Australia is sponsoring him.
